i want to know about preparation for cds...how to prepare,what books to refer,whch newspaper to read and wat s d exam pattern...checking pattern and what to do to clear the examination in one go..m seriously trying to clear the examination since m a die hard armed forces aspirant..please help..

To start your basic preparation you need to know the syllabus of the examination which will be held in selected cities of the UPSC Board.Here am attaching the notification where you can find details regarding syllabus and SSB test.Since the examination consists of subjects like Mathematics,English and other subjects like (History and Civics,Biology,Geography,Chemistry,Physics and Current events) well split up in almost equal marks.Clearing the examination is not a big task but clearing the SSB is certainly going to be a huge task in hand.

You can prefer NCERT Books from 7'th to 10'th class along with Upkar publication books for CDS.These books will definitely help you for the examination.Please note that there are even negative marks for wrong answering hence answer the questions which your sure off.
