Dear friend there is no as such you can say is best, you get some books like competition success review (csr), manorama year book, csr ssb interview, bright's ssb interview etc
Improve your vocabulary, essay writing, positive thinking, story writing, presentation, current affairs, history etc
By going through these books you get an picture of exactly what goes on (during ssb), try to read and knowledge as much as possible

Combined defence service examination is conducted by the Union Public service commission twice in a year. To apply for this examination a candidate should be graduate in any discipline from the recognized university. Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible for this examination.

How To prepare for CDS exam?
Combined defence service examination is based on the following pattern:



So you have to study the above topics for the CDS examination.Candidate who passed the CDS examination will be called for the SSB interview at any of the Selection boards in India. Finally who passed the SSB examination will sent for the medical examination.

You are from commerce background, so you are eligible for I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy post and to apply for this, you must have a bachelor degree from a recognised university. And for this post Only unmarried male candidates between 19-24 years are eligible and for OTA, your age should between 19 to 25 years, The UPSC conducts the CDS examination twice in a year. CDS CRITERIA :

Nationality : A candidate must either be :

i. A Citizen of India, or
ii. A subject of Bhutan, or
iii. A subject of Nepal, or
iv. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January, 1962
with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
v. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma,
Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda,
the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia or
Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories
(ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a
certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :

i. For IMA-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January,1988
and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are eligible.

ii. For Naval Academy-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than
2nd January, 1991 ( 2nd January, 1989 in case of NCC Naval Wing ‘C’
Certificate holders ) and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are
eligible.

iii.For Air Force Academy-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier
than 2nd January, 1990 and not later than 1st January, 1994 only are
eligible.

Educational Qualifications :

1. For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy :
Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.

2. For Indian Naval Academy :
Degree in Engineering for CDSE and Degree in Engineering or B.Sc.
( with Physics or Mathematics ) for NCC entry.

3. For Air Force Academy :
Degree of recognized University
( with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level ) or Bachelor of Engineering.

there's no medical test for appearing for CDS . if you qualify that test with minimum marks you will be called for the SSB interview . if you pass there you will have to go through physical and medical test

Sir I am pursuing B.com 3rd year and have NCC "C" certificate from B grade in Army Wing.....
how can i be in IMA or OTA or in indian army and will i get any benefit of C certificate.
