just try to concentrate on technical section have a brief review of basic section. and to attempt only sure questions to reduce the chances for negative marking.

GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.This entrance examination is conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology.

For this exam ,you should have done your bachelor's degree in technology /engineering .Final year candidates can also apply for the exam.

There is no upper age limit for the exam and also no restriction on no of attempts .

After clearing this exam with good rank ,you will become eligible for the two things :

>>You will able to pursue your master's degree in technology from IIT.

>>Second ,lots of Public sector undertakings has started to recruit candidates on the basis of GATE score.

But to clear this exam ,hard labour and strong determination is required along with courage and motivation.Here is some of the important tips for the GATE exam:

>>First of know your syllabus for the GATE exam.

>>After this ,along with college schedule ,during your self study give at least two hours daily for the GATE exam preparation .

>>Whatever your read ,do it with crystal clear concept.

>>Try to attend the video lectures of different subjects at NPTEL that are actually lectures of IIT.

>>Always motivate yourself that you can do it.

>>Proper revision at regular intervals is very necessary.

>>Try to solve the previous year papers for the topics you have read.
