IBPS conducts examination for recruitment of PO, Clerk and Specialist officers every year. The selection is on the basis of written exam and interview.

The objective type paper has following sections:

-General Awareness

-Reasoning Aptitude

-Quantitative Aptitude

-Computer Aptitude

-English

The most important sections are Reasoning and Quantitative because these sections require time and practice. Without practice you will not succeed in these two sections.

So practice sample papers as much as possible because these sections are crucial and will decide the overall marks of your paper.

General awareness is of last 6 months so study everything that has happened in the last few months with special reference to banking awareness.

Try to read newspaper or listen to daily news regularly so that you are updated with latest happenings.

For English get some good practice books and try to improve your comprehension skills because there will passages in the exam.

IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. Every year IBPS is going to conduct common written exam on behalf of all the public sector banks for the recruitment of various positions like
Clerical positions and
Probationary Officers

First the candidate have to give IBPS Written Exam. If you qualify in that exam by getting good score, then you will be called for Interview.

The written exam consists of questions from the following categories
Reasoning
Numerical Ability
General Awareness
General English
Computer Knowledge

One should have strong preparation towards the written exam. Then only it is possible to score good number of marks.

If you observe the previous year written exam of IBPS, it is too tough. As the number of candidates who are applying for IBPS Exams are going on increasing, every year the written exam paper is being tougher.

Here are some of the tips for your strong preparation.

-Try to get updated knowledge on current affairs through which you can easily score good number of marks in quick time.
-If you are good enough in English, practice various exercises with regard to General English.

-Every day try to learn 5 new words and use them in your day to day conversations which builds up your vocabulary.

-Try to speak in English only with others so that you will be able to know the errors in others conversations which will be helpful for you in identifying errors in the written exam.

-Try to remember the logics rather than remembering the problems in Reasoning so that you can apply those logics depending upon the problems.

-Always have pleasant of mind then only you can answer the questions of Reasoning.

Wish you all the best.
