IFS exam covers topics on English language, GK and optional subjects. You have to prepare well for grammatical and vocabulary section to clear English paper. Preparation for GK section can be done by reading newspaper daily and by visiting news portals. Preparation on optional papers can be made by referring graduation level books of the concerned subject. Preparation for this can be started by setting a convenient timetable and by dedicating separate time for each subject.

IFS stands for Indian Forest Service Exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC .

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Those candidate have graduation degree from Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering of a recognized University or equivalent are applicable for IFS exam.

Final year student are eligible for IFS exam,

AGE CRITERIA

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

IFS-Indian Forest Service exam is conducted by the UPSC once in a year.

Eligibility criteria:

You should be complete your graduation from any recognised university with in any of the following subjects

Animal Husbandry &
Veterinary Science, Botany,
Chemistry, Geology,
Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology.

Final year candidates also eligible.

Age limits is 21years to 30years, 3years age relaxation for the OBC candidates, 5year age relaxation for the SC/ST candidates.
