first of all plan well and frame a timetable so that you will complete all subjects in your study holidays. Then note down important hints so that it will help you to just go through once on the day of exam. On the previous day of your exam you should only revise . If you plan in this way for sure your score will be upto your expectation.

It is good to keep an aim or a goal while appearing for the exam. To achieve it you will need to first of all make sure that you have your basics right. You must not skip any area in any of the subjects. Also never neglect a subject thinking it is important or unimportant. You must also solve the previous year papers and do correct yourself to know the areas where you tend to make mistakes.

dear friends,
Know your syllabus: Refer to the CBSE website for the updated syllabus of this year, and know it completely. As you go through the contents table of your subject textbooks, you will see familiar topics, which may have already been introduced in your previous classes, especially in math and science. You should have a clear picture of familiar and unfamiliar topics. NCERT textbooks rule : Irrespective of the books prescribed by your school, ensure that you always refer to the NCERT textbooks, carefully. It has been a tradition with CBSE to mostly map the question papers to NCERT textbooks. Previous years’ papers always help : Get into the habit of solving questions from previous years’ papers. These are easily available and accessible on educational websites like CBSE. You can also pick them up from book shops, but make sure the publisher is authentic. Make sure you have the latest papers, too. Follow CBSE (or relevant board) sample papers only: These are generally released in September or October on the CBSE website. Whenever it happens, consider it your ‘first standard mock test’ before moving on to any private publisher’s papers. Keep your eyes and ears open: CBSE, being a dynamic body, is continuously in the process of reforming testing mechanisms by changing the s yllabus, marking schemes, exam patterns, etc. So, stay updated. On your marks, get set, go! Understand the marking scheme followed by CBSE, by going through SMART answers of previous years’ papers solved by experts or CBSE. Every question has a specific marks break-up. Your familiarity with the format will help you guess the probable marks allotted for the various steps involved in the correct answer. No cramming: It’s important to learn and understand your concepts well, if you want to score more in the exams. Cramming, without understanding, will take you nowhere. So, make sure you have understood the concepts well before cramming anything. Don’t Stick to your CBSE syllabus: Don’t put unnecessary pressure on yourself by studying more than the scope of your syllabus. Nothing apart from the prescribed syllabus will appear in your exams. Refresher books are for revision: The key to success in the exams is to always start with NCERT textbooks. Use refresher books or guides only to refresh what you have already studied. This will confuse you less. No ‘guess papers’ at the start: These papers are for practising, only when you have finished revising the entire syllabus of a subject, at least once. By starting with these you will end up confusing yourself and panicking. Avoid peer pressure: Always prepare for the exams as per your needs and abilities. Studying what’s outside of your syllabus just because your friends are doing so could prove to be a waste of time. wish you all the best..................................... |

Hi.. If you really want to score 95% then the best way is to follow the "text books". I got 90% because of this. The most important parameter is your "interest". Just try to learn in an interesting manner. |

dear friend,
i am a student like you but a little bit more experienced than you. currently i am in NIT roukela you might be wondering why i am discussing all this, its because grab your intention we listen those who are successful even though a failure give the same suggestion. if you want to score a good mark in your board exam just refer NCERT text book as well as reference book but NCERT is must. go on covering as much syllabus you can one you cover your syllabus revise it properly. this is about the covering of syllabus now the scoring part comes in play for this try to judge your self regularly.and how you will do this, how you are going to judge yourself this is the other part which will actually decide how much you are going to score in your board exam. to just yourself simple way is to solve the sample paper regularly in a exam environment which means sit for 3 hrs as you do in exam hall after that correct your paper how much you score is actually that much you are going to get in your board exam. if you scoring poor mark repeat the process regularly with side by side revision of text book.at last you will get a good result. you can refer and sample paper like get together or same as any one. my best wishes is with you have a good luck |
