you can join defence services after 12th standard.

you have to apply nda exam.

nda exam stands for national defence academy.

nda exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year.

nda exam eligibility;-

---age limit is 16.5-19 years.

---you must be unmarried male as well as Indian citizen.

Indian Defence Service can be joined basically in two ways through NDA and CDS entrance exam depending upon one's eligibility.

NDA - National Defence Academy exam conducted twice every year by UPSC for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 6.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Health.

CDS - Combined Defence Service exam conducted by UPSC twice every year by UPSC for an entry in to Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer's Training Academy.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 25 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

You can also join Indian Defence as soldier after 10th standard.

If you want to join defense then you have completed your 12th science with at least 60% from recognise board....

Unmarried Male can Apply for it....

Age Limit :- 16.5 to 19 years.....

You can join defence through various examination based on the qualification you are having.

-NDA examination is for 10+2 pass students who want to join Defence through National Defence Academy. Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 years and must be unmarried male indian citizen then only you can apply for NDA Exam.

-CDS Examination after you complete your Graduation. You can apply for all the three branches of Defence if you have the qualification. The age limit for CDS Examination is between 19 to 25 years.

-AFCAT for those who want to join Indian Air Force. You can join Flying branch. Technical branch and Ground Duty branch of Air Force through this exam. The age limit for this exam is between 19 to 27 years.

Along with above examination you can also apply for various special entry schemes, Short Service commission and Non officer posts according to your qualification.

The selection in defence is mainly based on the written exam, SSB and Medical Examination.

Hence you must have a very good physical fitness then only you can join Defence.
