sir/ma'am,
I am pleased to inform you that there are a number of ways to get admitted to a BTech course. They can be listed as follows-
1.You shuld appear in competitive exams AIEEE and IIT-JEE ,these exams provide the qualified candidates a platform to choose the college they want from all over INDIA according to their scores in respective exams. The top rankers get the best IITs and NITs.Counselling is conducted to choose the colleges and institutes. Not only this the govt. colleges too take the students according to their respective state rankings.
2.The other way can be joining the private institutes. This is easy,Private coleges either hold an entrance exam or take admissions directly on the basis of your percentage in 12th standard .
hope this will help, choose the best.

B.Tech ADMISSION.

B.Tech is stand for the Bachelor of Technology. Nice to see your interest in the field of the engineering course. B.Tech course is of duration four year i.e eight semesters.

To admission in the engineering course you need to appear in the entrance examination. There are many engineering entrance examination conducted by the government/private University in every year for the admission in the engineering course like IIT JEE, WBJEE, VITEEE, ORJEE, KIITEE...... and many other entrance examination.

To appear in the engineering entrance examination you need pass 12th class in the PCM stream from a recognize board. The 12th board exam appearing student can also appear in the engineering entrance examination. So, if you are a 12th passed candidate then you can apply for the engineering entrance examination.

Do preparation well for the upcoming engineering entrance examination and score well for the admission into the good engineering college. All the Best.

Helo,
To take admission in B.Tech you should appear for entrance like-
-IIT JEE (for IIT's)
-AIEEE (for niit's)
-State Entrance Tests

Based on your rank you are alloted different colleges

Inspite of these you can take admission in MANAGEMENT QUOTA of any college without appearing for any entrance.
