IES - Indian Engineering Service conducted by UPSC once every year for appointment of young Engineers in the top technical post under Central Govt. various Dept.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final B.Tech. Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate.

As you have asked regarding preparation of IES, it is a subjective examination so you need to be fundamentally cleared about your concerned branch paper.

As far as you are preparing from Made Easy Books, you need not to be worried about preparation of IES because the books from Made Easy provide sufficient easy and necessary steps and explanations for every questions for IES preparation.
