I Have completed my graduation (B.Com.) in 1998 after that i have stopped my study due financial problem but now i want to take admission in l.l.b. please tell me that can i get admission.

To get admission in the law course the candidates have to give an entrance test and face a personal interview. Eligibility for 3 years LLB course is that candidates should have a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate with 5% relaxation for reserved candidates. Recognized law universities conduct their own entrance exam for admission. After successfully passing the 3 year course, candidates have to appear for exam conducted by Bar Council of India. After passing the candidates go through one year internship to become a lawyer.

To get admission in LLB,every year CLAT is conducted.The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination conducted by 14 National Law Schools/Universities for admissions to their under-graduate and post graduate degree programmes (LL.B & LL.M). The 14 participating NLUs in the order of their establishment are:

The Eligibility criteria for the CLAT for undergraduate programmes is as under-

1. A candidate should have passed his/her Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability).

2. Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.

3. Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability)

Eligibility for CLAT Test Postgraduate Programmes is as under-

1. A candidate should have obtained a LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST /OBC and persons with Disability)

* Issue of application forms of CLAT :- 2nd January, 2012 (Monday)
* Last Date for submission of filled-in application forms:- 31st March 2012 (Saturday)
* Issue of Hall Tickets:- Up to 14th April 2012 (Saturday)
* Date of CLAT 2012:- 13th May 2012 (Sunday) from 03:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
