sir i just want to know how and when i will apply for ntpc,now i am in 3rd year electrical department.
what is criteria?

Elegibile candidates have to apply only through Online registraion system of NTPC from 1300 hours of 27/01/2009 to midnight of 16/02/2009. To apply visit http://www.ntpcjobs.net/ with your e-mail ID. After applying online take print out of registration slip and send it to ET Recruitment group, NTPC Ltd., Post Box No. 004, Head Post Office, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 on or before 02/03/2009.

Hi. . . I want to tell you something about ntpc exams ..a final year student can appear for this exam.if you are going to be an electrical engineer..then do now worry prepare ntpc exams.a lot of posts has to be filled every year.i think you can appear for the ntpc exam in 4rth year of your degree.and if you want to clear the exam after degree then you must have passed your degree atleast with 65% marks. And also one thing i want to tell you can subscribe sarkari naukri mails on your email id through which you can get the information on entrace exam or govt jobs through mails.for this you have to search it on google.. finish your ug course and apply for nptc job.. have a good knowledge in the subject as the job requires more knowledge

the minimum qualification required for it is a engineering graduate and for different posts its different you need to check that out but you can tell me for whiich post you want to apply for and timly the give thrir adds about various vacencies . hope you get a god job all the best ..

but when you will be in the 4th year then you can apply,

so you are not eligible for NTPC job as a electrical engineer..
you can apply it in the 4th year ..

the form will be available in the month of April.
final year student are also eligible for this examination.

since you are in third year you are not eligible for the NTPC job exams you can apply only in fourth year.but still for your knowledge you can read employment news for such type of exams and also you can visit website www.freshersworld.com to get recent updates of such exams.

when ever the vaccancy of the NTPC will come you get the application form,

and fill it. generally every year on the month of the january the form will be published.

and for that exams the final year students are alos eligible.

and you can also check the vaccancy on the websites

As you are saying that you are in 3rd year, then you can't apply for NTPC..

after completion of your graduation you can apply for NTPC, but you must have 60% aggregate in your Btech..

so , study well.. try to make the basic concept clear..

study the core papers properly, without any doubt..

you can get the information for jobs in NTPC in employment newspaper..

so ,read employment newspaper..

there wii be announcement of notification in march-2011 so apply and wellprepare for that

eligibility always changes...............so can't be predicted but it is sure that there should be no back

NTPC is a PSU so it conducts its own exam and you can go for it.

Eligibility for NTPC Exam: -

1. Pass B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engg. or Mechanical Engg. or aeronautical engineering or Computer Science Engg. or Chemical Engg. or Electrical Engg. with a minimum of 65% aggregate marks from a recognized Institute / University.

2. Nationality - Indian

3. Age - 21 Years to 30 Years for General candidates, 21 Years to 33 Years for OBC candidates and 21 Years to 35 Years for SC / ST candidates.

NOTE: - A candidates appearing in the final year can also apply.

but final year students are allowed.

so next year you will be eligiable. if you have 65% markd in btech.

1>first your graduation should be completed from electrical engineering to go for ntpc company.
2>if these company don''t come to your campus then what you have to do.
3>asscent paper comes with times of india.....ntpc regulary give the vacancies details in these paper...you should just go through these paper and apply fo it.
