Sir, i completed 45 years of age. my M.A.(Literature) percentage is 55%.Now i want to write any u.g.c. exams please tell me for what exam iam eligible.

University Grant Commission conducts National Eligibility Test for master degree holder interested in Lectureship as well as Junior Research Fellowship. The maximum age limit for Junior Research Fellowship is 28 years and as per the age you have mentioned, you will not be considered eligible to opt for the same but as far as lectureship is concerned, there is no maximum age limit to take National Eligibility Test (NET).
The minimum percentage of marks one must have scored in the master degree examination is 55%, which is relaxed upto 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
The test is conducted in the month of June and December every year and since you have done your masters in Literature, you will have to take the test in the same or related subject.
Qualifying the test will enable you to apply for post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Universities and Colleges located anywhere in India.
