IAS exam after Microbiology(Hons.)?


after class 12 i want to do honours in microbiology,after that i can apply for IAS exam?
if yes then what we have to do

To become an IAS officer you have to apply for the civil service examination.
Civil service examination is conducted by the UPSC every year.

YES INDEED! IAS exams can be taken up by any1 who has a bachelor's degree from any recognised university or pursuing the final yr of the course in the recognised university.

You can take up the IAS exam immediately after u finish ur degree or can take up after some preparation.. Apply accordingly..


regarding the qualifications, age limit, attempts, etc pls visit the upsc WEBSITE www.upsc.gov.in.

IAS Examination was conducted by UPSC Every Year And to become a IAS Officer, You have to Appear for Civil Services Examination.

And to Apply for Civil Services Examination, You Must Have a Bachelor degree from any stream from a recognised colleges and University.

And to apply for UPSC Civil Services Examination, Your age should between 21
To 30 Years.

So, After Completing Your bachelor degree course, you are eligible to apply for IAS Examination, And the final year appearing candidates also apply for IAS Examination.

Yes, you can give this exam.
because you were completed your graduation and if your age is between 21 to 30.

I am giving you the information bronchure(attached file) of civil exam

It conducts in three stages:-
1.prelim-I am attaching the syllabus of tghis exam and asample paper
2. main exam-general studies,english,essay,one optional language paper choosen by you and two optionla subjects choosen by you.
3.interview

You can choose botany and zoology for main exam.I am attaching the syllabus of that.

definitely, you can apply for IAS after Microbiology(Hons.).

as minimum qualification graduation in any field is require to attain in the IAS exam.

and minimum 60% marks in graduation is require to attain in the IAS exam.

age limit for IAS exam is 21-29 years.

FOR IAS exam the eligibilty is qualified the graduation course or appearing in final year of the graduation.
Educational Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification (Para 3(iii) of Notice).

Eligibility criteria for IAS exam:
Education qualification:
Candidate should have Graduation degree with any discipline in recognized university

Age:
For General Category candidates age should be between 21 to 30 years
For OBC category Candidate age should be between 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST category candidates,only minimum age is consider i.e 21 years

If you fulfill the above mentioned criteria,then definitely you are eligible for IAS exam.To appear for IAS exam,you have apply for Civil service exam.

Hello friend,
Yes, after getting bachelor's degree in microbiology you can apply for IAS exam. The eligibility for the IAS exam will be graduation in any discipline from any recognized university. The age limit should be 21-30 years.
So after completion of graduation you can apply for IAS exam. but now you can concentrate on 12th so that you can get admission in Microbiology easily.

IAS is an central service and also deeply regarded as the most prestigious job..

this service there are other 24 services for which a common entrance test is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission)

The main basic eligibility criteria for Civils Service Examination

->Candidate must have 21 years of age

->Candidate must complete at least degree from a recognized Indian University

this is all about the basic eligibility criteria of CSE

As per your qualification if you have completed Degree then definitely you are eligible for the exam..

If your degree that is Microbiology comes under a recognized Degree of India

then you are perfectly eligible

Apply for Civil service Examination,Your age should between 21 To 30 yrs.

And Upper age limit will be Relaxed by 3 yrs for OBC candidates and 5 yrs for

SC/ST candidates and You must have a graduate degree from any recognized

university. And Those in the final year of a degree course can also Eligible.

So,After completing your graduation,you are Eligible To Apply for IAS Exams.

For IAS, one need to go through a civil services examination conducted by UPSC.

The selection procedure will be by
-CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test)
-Civil Services Main examination
-Interview.

Here is the eligibility criteria for IAS exam.

Age criteria :
-One should be in the age group of 21-30 years (For General category)
-For OBC : 21-33 years
-For SC/ST : 21-35 years

Academic qualification :
Candidate should have a bachelors degree in any of the discipline from a recognized university.

Maximum number of attempts :
For General category candidates : 4 times
For OBC : 7 times
For SC/ST : No limit.

I would suggest you to complete your graduation first and then you will be eligible for IAS exam as candidates with any graduation degree is eligible for IAS exam

as for IAS you need to be only Graduate...

He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing

It consits of two paper and each paper of Two hrs..


(Paper 1) (200 marks) consists of
  • Current events.
  • History
  • Geography
  • Indian Polity and governance
  • Economic and social development
  • and General science.

It is of purely objective type and qualifying exam...

(Paper II) (200 marks)
  • Comprehension
  • Logical reasoning and analytical ability
  • Decision making and problem solving
  • General mental ability
  • Basic numeracy(Class X level)
  • English language comprehension skills (Class X level)

It is of purely subjective type and followed by interview....
Based on the overall ranking and your choice of cadre, you will be provided IFS (Indian Foreign Service), IAS or IPS. The higher your rank, the choice is with you.

In case you have not not got a good rank and got into IFS, IAS or IPS, you may still become a Group A or B officer in the Central Govt.

For IAS, you have to appear in civil services examination conducted by UPSC.

so after honours in microbiology you will be eligible for civil service examination. now you have to complete your graduation attentively with microbiology with very good marks. after that when notification for civil service examination will come then you have to apply for that and you have to clear the civil service preliminary examination, civil service main examination and the interview to become IAS officer.
