I appeared for an axam in Std. 10 Gujarat Board. My aim is to become a medical student. Should I join Std 11 Science stream or should I opt for diploma medical course. If so, which course?

If I want to become a medical student should I join standard 11th science stream or diploma medical course?

You can choose either of the two to become a medical student but i will advice you choose the first option means join standard 11th with science(physics, chemistry and biology).Complete class 12th and then take part in various Medical entrance exams like -AIIMS, Sikkim and Manipal University e.t.c and try to get better results there to be a good doctor or surgeon or whatever you want in this field.

I will suggest you to join some kind of coaching for that also because coaching will provide you the competitive environment and also you would be able to strengthen your weak points.

Rest of all depends upon you .

its always better to go in to class 11th with medical stream because the diploma has many drawbacks with it..so go for class 11th with biology n after 12th,u can do MBBS or whatever u like

You seems to be really confused but let me clear your doubt :
If you want to be medical student then take combination of PHYSICS ,BIOLOGY ,CHEMISTRY and one addtional either maths /computer scince
then you will be a student of medical stream .There is no need to take up any medical course

as you want to become a medical student , then you can go for any of them..

But I think You should go for 11th science(physics, chemistry, biology).. after completion of your 12th you have to appear in medical entrance exams like- AIIMS,AFMC, AIPMT...

These are the medical entrance exam.. You can appear in any of them..
You can take admission in medical on the basis of your score in those entrance exam..

So, go for it..

there are various options in medical field...like biotech,biochem,neurology,cardiothoracic,paediatri cs,obstetrics,gynaecology, dermatology,optamology,physchiatry,anesthesiology, dentist,gasteroenterology,clinical haematology,endocrinology,allothaphgy,ayurveda,una ni and there are many more options for you....................

course related to bone specialist is called orthopedist and there is no particular term for child specialist .........................

If you want to join the medical field, then you can do only diploma courses after 10th, so for better opportunities like MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, Biotech engineering, Biomedicine, etc, I will recommend you to complete your 11th and 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and Maths(optional, but is advantageous). This will broaden your choices and will help you in choosing your discipline once you become more mature.
