cant i get any job in aeronautical if i have spects ? my eye site number is -6.5. please answer.

Hi,

If you are aiming to join Aeronautics course then you can proceed.
Colleges offering aeronautics does not make it a requirement on eye-sight issue.

But if you are aiming to join Govt/Public sector/Company in the field of Aeronautics, then you would be examined by Panel Doctor sponsored by DGCA
Director General of Civil Aviation to issue medical fitness certificate.

But dont loose heart. There are enough laser surgery available now to correct it,

Yes, you have face problem, if you want to make your career in Aeronautics. You have normal eyesight and as per general medical terminology, it is also referred as 6/6eyesight. So, general physical fitness is mandatory to get enter in aeronautics
field.......

yes you can get a job in aeronautical if you wear spects. In air force there is need of good eyesight because there are chances of becoming a pilot. So don,t get confused between the two.

Wearing spectacles is not a problem in aeronautics but your number might be a problem as it is high....i know a few who are in that industry and they have spectacles....so don't worry about it....is your vision 20/20 after wearing spectacles ??

.I am sorry to say but,your eyesight is too low i.e -6.5 .You may not be able to pursue the course.You wont be able to get a job in aeronautics.

Yes you may or may not face problems in getting admission in aeronautical in some engineering colleges. Some organize some physical tests and you have to pass through the test if you want to get admission

I even heard that an almost blind guy is working in NASA :O

in aeronautical trade its a versatile jobs. because every student carrier is bright.

May or may not be you have to face problems because there are some colleges which organize physical test and you have to pass the test if you want to get admission in any good aeronautical engineering college...But
you can become a ground engineer after doing aeronautical engineering...

friend, it is written in the brochure that you must have either 6/6 in both eyes or they must be corrected to 6/6 or 6/9 in either of the eye so i think that you might get admissions into them .

some college does provide different criteria's for the same .

dear friend,

if you wish to be an pilot then it is impossible.because first requiement there is good vision standard.you have minus power so it doesnot meet the eligibility criteria.

and other deparments are open for you.there is no eye power standard.

Don't worry. Eyesight is not important to being an aero engineer as long as they can get the job done. And that may require having a computer with voice communication.

you can make your carrer in air force or navy as an aeronautics but your eye sight is weak. You needs 6/6 or 6/9 to make your carrer successful.Fistly improve your eyesight by consulting with a good eye specialist got a right treatment but at the moment you can face problems if you go for it

Having sight problem is not at all a problem to excel in the field of Aeronautics.

You should worry if your aim is to become a pilot.

The work of an Aeronautical Engineer is to Design and Analyze the designs. But you are not going to fly it. You should worry if you are to fly it.

It has nothing to do with sight problem.

Hello...there is no problem on you wearing spectacles for pursuing aeronautical course.Don't worry,better you can prepare for the exams like IIT JEE,AIEEE.All you need to do is clear this exam in good grades and then nothing can stop you from pursuing aeronautics course from best universities in India.

Yes,you can pursue Aeronautical course,though you wear spectacles.You will not face any problem,with your low visibility.
