Past Papers of IIT JEE

IIT JEE is considered to be the toughest and the most prestigious engineering entrance exam and is conducted for B.Tech courses in IITs,IT-BHU,ISM Dhanbad,IISc,IISER and many more..

A candidate can appear in IIT JEE only if he/she satisfies the following minimum eligibility criterion :-

1) The candidate must have passed 12th in 2011 or appearing in 2012 for appearing in IIT JEE 2012

2) The candidate must have an aggregate of 60% or above in Physics,Chemistry and Maths

There are 2 papers of 3 hour duration each..

The IIT JEE 2012 is going to be conducted on 8th April,2012

I have attached a few past papers of IIT JEE..the latest ones so you have an idea of the latest paper pattern..

Observe the level of the questions asked and topics from which maximum questions are asked in each of Physics,Chemistry and Maths..

Tips For Preparation

>> It is always good to be clear with the basics and start from the NCERT books..

>> Cover all the topics from the syllabus

>> Make sure you have the complete study material for your preparations..

>> Work really hard as there is no short cut for success when it comes to IIT JEE

>> Practice a lot of numerical problems from various books like M.L.Khanna for Maths,Concepts of Physics,P.Bahadur and O.P. Tandon for Chemistry

>> Join a test series in a good coaching institute for IIT JEE which will let you know your current position in the overall All India competition..
