Importance of mhcet? Can some provide me the analysis of importance of mhcet at present when JEE has taken over maximum engineering exams?

MHCET stands for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test. JEE stands for the Joint Entrance test.

MHCET is the entrance examination conducted by state government of Maharashtra for admission in undergraduate course of engineering whereas JEE is the Joint Entrance examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education for admission in bachelor of technology in colleges like:

1. Various Indian Institute of Technology.

2. National Institute of Technology.

3. Central government engineering colleges like IIITs etc.

So, you can see on the basis of JEE score admission to top engineering colleges of India is given so MHCET score is only applicable in case of state government colleges.
