Re: Indian Air Force after B.Tech? Scope in this career?
Both male and female candidates can join Indian Air Force( Technical Branch) after their engineering (Btech and BE). Mainly there are two branches for which the student can apply for after his Btech or BE. The first one is Aeronautical Engineering Electronics branch and the other one is the Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical branch. The Electronics branch deals with signal and communication stuff while the Mechanical branch has to take care of the maintenance, servicing and other engine related tasks.

Re: Indian Air Force after B.Tech? Scope in this career?
first thing is that you have totally wrong information that all those who go after 12 do not get respectable positions.
secondly after 12th NDA or after graduation through CDS or B.tech evey person who gets commissioned in Armed forces join at same rank. The only differnce lies in their training period. One who joins after NDA the training period is 3 years wherein you get a graduation degree from JNU after training and after graduation is 1-1/2 year or 1 year after Btech in graduation. |

Re: Indian Air Force after B.Tech? Scope in this career?
After completion of B.Tech course you can apply for air force common entrance test(AFCAT)exam which is the most valuable exam for engineers in the field of air force.
If you get qualified in this exam you have to go for personnel interview and for physical checkup,if you get qualified in in all this tests you are eligible to join in job. ALL THE BEST |
