btech n biotech is different right n do i get an opportunity to join air force by taking btech as my sub

Eligibility criteria for joining the Indian Air Force:

Age:

18 to 28 years (At the time of commencement of training)

Branches in Btech / BE: Electronics,Tele-communication, Electrical, Electrical Communication, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science & Engineering

Salary Range: approx. 17000 along with benefits and various allowances.

Percentage in Btech / BE: 60% or above

Time for Recruitment Notice: Twice in a year (around March and September).

yes there is scope in Indian Air Force after B.TECH because there is so much vacancy for B.TECH.you can also apply in 3rd yr. for Air Foce if you are selected then you will go for SSB and you should give interview also.
This is a government job and package is also good 8.87lakh annul.That's why this is a very good for country.

Indian Air Force is of the most interesting and renowned job in the governmnent sector and is more respected in respect to other organizatios.

There are lots of scope to go after completing the B.Tech level .

Basically there are 5 streams eligible,
1.Computer Science,

2.Electrical,

3.Electronics and Communication,

4.Electronics and Instrumentation,

5.Electronics and Telecommunication.

And as you have said that you are from the ECE deapertment ,so you are having lots of scope in this field.

Both male and female candidates can join Indian Air Force( Technical Branch) after their engineering (Btech and BE).

Mainly there are two branches for which the student can apply for after his Btech or BE.

The first one is Aeronautical Engineering Electronics branch and the other one is the Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical branch. The Electronics branch deals with signal and communication stuff while the Mechanical branch has to take care of the maintenance, servicing and other engine related tasks.


You can also Join INDIAN AIR FORCE directly for the SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION (SSC) aftet completing the B.Tech.

1.through UES. which exam you can appear in the final year of your btech.

2.through UPSC exam. which exam you can appear after doing your btech.

As a engineer you can apply for the Indian Air force as an officer. There are various branches of Indian Air force in which you can apply through various entry scheme after the completion of your engineering.

The branches of Indian Air force in which you can apply after the completion of your engineering are given below:

1.FLYING BRANCH
2.TECHNICAL BRANCH
3.GROUND DUTY BRANCHES.

So you can join as an officer in Indian Air force as an officer after the completion of your engineering. The various entry modes through which you can join as an officer in the above branches are given below:

1.CDSE entry scheme
Candidates who have completed their graduation with physics and maths at 10+2 level can apply for the Indian Air force in various branches of Indian Air force.
The candidates having degree of engineering are also eligible to apply for the Indian Air force through CDSE entry scheme.

AGE LIMIT:
The candidate applying for the above entry scheme should have age between 19 to 23 years.


2.Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission (For Men & women)
Candidates having degree of graduation and physics and maths at 10+2 level are eligible to apply for the above entry scheme.
Candidates having degree of engineering and have scored at least 60% marks in engineering are eligible to apply for the above entry scheme.

AGE LIMIT:
The candidate applying for the above entry scheme should have age between 19 to 23 years.



3.University Entry Scheme
The candidates having degree of engineering and scored at least 60% marks can apply through this entry scheme for the Indian Air force.
The candidates who have appeared in the final year exam are also eligible to apply for the above entry scheme.

AGE LIMIT:
The candidates applying for the above entry scheme should have age between 18 to 28 years.

So you can apply for the Indian Air force as an officer through the above entry scheme after the completion of your engineering.

iam doing btech computer science 3rd year how can i join in airforce after completing my course

After doing b.tech you can get into the following branches:

1. Flying Branch
2. Technical Branch


1. Flying branch-Educational qualification is, graduate ( Three Year Course ) in any discipline from a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) / BE / B Tech( Four Year Course) .



2. Technical Branch- After you have completed your engineering, you can join the Technical Branch through the Direct Entry Scheme.

you can go in technical branch through UES i.e University entry scheme

educational qualification for UES is The candidate must be currently studying in Pre-final year of BE / B Tech degree course in the relevant streams of engineering and must have secured minimum of 60% marks in aggregate upto the last semester for which results have been declared, at the time of applying / AFSB testing. There must be No backlog / arrears of papers of previous semesters. On completion of degree, minimum 60% of marks in aggregate in all papers are obligatory.

All inform I got is clear if a student is pursuing 4 year BTech program. But I am doing a Dual Degree, its a 5 year program offering BTech and MTech at the end of 5 years. Am I eligible to apply for Flying branch with this degree.

you can apply for the Aeronautical Engineers Course in both Electronics and Mechanical branch in the Indian Air Force.

Eligibility:

you should be minimum 17 and max age is 25

Educational Qualification:

you should have Degree in Engineering in Electronics/Telecom/Electrical/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation/Computer Science branch from recognized institute .

Selection Process:

The selection process includes both written examination and personal interview with the selection committee.
