Sorry to say but there are no any scope of MBA in Indian Army, but you can join it as per your graduation qualification.
If you satisfy all the criteria regarding the issued form then you are eligible for it.

& you didn't mention from which subject you have completed your graduation discipline.

& as per my knowledge about your date of birth, the maximum age limit for Indian army is 26 year, as you have crossed the age but you can see the age criteria in the various form of Indian army.

as per the defence exam norms candidate must be fall in the age category of 19-23yr.it's too late you are not eligible for that.

For IMA you have to apply for either CDSE or UES.

sorry to say, but If this zeal , enthusiasm and desire to join Indian army would have come before your PG then it must have possible.

But if you full fill the age limit i.e(Less than 23 years) then there are chances to join Indian army.

But on seeing your date of birth i.e 31.12.1983
you have crossed 23 years.
so sorry to say but its fact you are not eligible.

Hope your age has not been crossed the limits.

I am very sorry to say that your age is little greater than the requirement,so you are not eligible for that but dont upset try to another stream,like management and technology...

yes, MBA students can join indian army.

as you have graduation degree, so you can appear in the UPSC exam.

to join in amry, you have to appear an qualify UPSC exam.

through UPSC exam, you can join in Indian army.

the criteria to attain in the UPSC exam is

minimum graduation in qualification with 55% marks.

age limit 21-29 years.

More than an MBA holder, i would like to serve my country and show all others who criticize our nation. You can get into the army after mba through the graduate entry - permanent commission


for these the eligibility conditions are

1. degree of a recognized university or equivalent

2. for indian military academy age limit 19-24 years

3. for officer training academy age limit is 19-25 years

the exam you have to write is cds examintion

There are chances for you join in Indian Army such as writing the NDA or CDS exam.

NDA is National Defence Academy and the exam is conducted by UPSC every year and is held 2 times.

Eligibility:

The candidates must be a citizen of India.
The candidates must be a unmarried male candidate.
The candidates must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

Education Qualification:

For Army Wings:

The candidate must have finished his +2 with (10th +2) pattern in school education.

The candidate must be physically fit while appearing for the exam as the physical standards seek for it while appearing.

CDS is Common Defence Academy and the exam is conducted by UPSC every year and is held 2 times.

Eligibility:

For Indian Military academy:

Only male unmarried candidates with 19-24 years of age are eligible.

For Military:

A degree from a recognized university is needed.

So you can opt for both the exams as you have finished your PG degree.

my friend as you have mentioned that you have done your MBA then why you want to go for Indian Army..
As you are not eligible for Army..
According to your date of birth you have already crossed the max. age limit..
So, sorry to say you that you are not eligible for Army..
But you can go for jobs.. After completion of MBA you can get a very good job in a company in managing post.. Also you will get a high salary..
So, think about it..

Well as you have done MBA so it mean that you are eligible to join ARMY as a graduate .

There are two entries through which you can get recruit at officer post in ARMY if you fulfill all eligibility criteria .

CDSE is conducted by UPSC twice a year to select graduate students to various field. Well you are eligible to apply for only two field through CDSE which is ARMY and OTA.

Eligibility for CDSE::

Army ::You must be graduate in any stream .
Your age should be between 19 to 24 years.

OTA::You must be graduate from a recognized college.
Your age should be between 19 to 25 years.

Exam pattern ::

For Admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Air Force Academy.
English is of 2 Hours and 100 marks
General Knowledge is of 2 Hours and 100 marks
Elementary Mathematics is of 2 Hours and 100 marks

For Admission to Officers’ Training Academy :

English is of 2 Hours and 100 marks
General Knowledge is of 2 Hours and 100 marks

Indian Army after MBA. You have to write CDS(Combined Defence Academy) which is conducted by UPSC(union public service commission)

* You should be the citizen of India.
* You should complete graduation from a recognized university
* You should study physics as subject.
* The age limit must be within 19-24 years.
* Candidates should be an unmarried male
