:Upper Age Limit for becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA):
There is no upper age limit for admission in Chartered Accountancy Course. You can apply for the course at any age, if are academically qualified for admission in the course. Become a Chartered Accountant (CA) The Chartered Accountancy Course is a correspondence type of course conducted by Institute of Chartered Accounts of India (ICAI). One can register for the course after finishing class 11th. There is no fixed date for registration, it remains open throughout the year. The Chartered Accountancy course is divided into following stages. You have to pass every stage to step on next stage. 1. Competence Proficiency Test or CPT 2. Integrated Proficiency Competence Course or IPCC 3. Final Course If you are registered student then only you can apply for the exams. Competence Proficiency Test or CPT You can apply for CPT during 12th class or after passing 12th with any percentage. Integrated Proficiency Competence Course or IPCC The IPCC is comprises of two groups (Group-A and Group-B) You can apply for Group-A and Group-B exams in the same session or in different sessions. After passing both groups of IPCC you will have to undergo 3 year Articled Training. After completion of Articled Training or during the last year of Articled Training, you can apply for CA Final Course exam. If you wish to take group exams in different sessions then you can start Articled Training after passing Group-A exam and you can appear Group-B exam anytime during the training period or later and after completion of Articled Training or during the last year of Articled Training, you can apply for CA Final Course exam.
