sir my name is brahmanand i have passed 2nd puc science i want to be an loco pilot, please give me some information about it. How can I join it?

For joining as a Loco Pilot, first of all you have to pass Assistant Loco Pilot exam taken by RRB.

For Assistant Loco Pilot exam , one must have complete minimum diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile from recognized university.

So first of all you have to complete the Diploma / Degree in above said branch.

With your study you can start the exam preparation for the Assistant Loco Pilot exam.

Assistant Loco Pilot exam have two parts.

1) Written exam
2) Aptitude test

Written exam has following objective type parts.
1) Quantitative Aptitude 2) Reasoning 3) English Language 4) General Awareness

Those who passed the exam will be called for Aptitude test.

Final selection will be based on combine marks secured in both parts.

So just complete your diploma / degree in relevant branch.

RRB conducts entrance exam for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician. You are eligible to apply for the same.

Eligibility
- You must have passed class X and have passed ITI course approved by NCVT/SCVT.
- Your age must be between 18 to 30 years.

- Arithmetic
- Reasoning
- General Science
- Technical Ability
- General Awareness
- General Intelligence

Selection Procedure
1) Written Exam
2) Aptitude Test
3) Medical Test
- After qualifying the entrance exam , You will get posting Assistant Loco Pilot or Technician.
- Aptitude Test is conducted for APL and Technician. Candidates who fail to produce vision certificate will not eligible for aptitute test.
- After qualifying the aptitute test , Medical Test is conducted of shortlisted candidates by railway administration.
