please give me information about PE-II exam....please provide to me the info

PE II or the Professional Education (Examination II) holds a very important level in the CA course. The PE II exam is usually held in the month of May and November every year. After qualifying PE I exam, the candidates are required to get enrolled in and qualify in PE II exam in 5 consecutive attempts.
PE II level consists of both theoretical and practical subjects. There are a total of nine subjects divided into 3 groups each of 3 papers carrying 100 marks.(i.e 6 papers of 100 marks each)
Minimum 40% score is required in each paper to pass and 50% aggregate in both the papers. The failing students have to re-appear in all the papers.
To get to the Final course, you will have to pass in both the groups. After qualifying PE II, you will get attached to a practicing CA as a trainee or “article clerk” for 3 years.

1. Group I
• Paper 1- Accounting
• Paper 2- Auditing
• Paper 3- Business & Corporate Laws
2. Group II
• Paper 4- Cost Accounting and Financial Management
• Paper 5- Income tax and Central Sales Tax
