ISRO offers the position of Scientist/Engineer `SC’ to the bright Young Post Graduates in Engineering/Science in the following specialized fields.

* Control Systems/ Control Dynamics
* Structural Engineering
* Industrial Engineering
* Industrail Safety
* Micro Electronics/ MEMS
* Digital Electronics/ Avionics
* RF, Microwave and Antenna
* Material Science

If you want to enter ISRO you can do post graduation in material science from IITB, IITK or ISM Dhanbad. The admission is done on the basis of GATE.

Dear friend,

To be eligible for appearing at ISRO entrance test meant for Phd or research programs, one must have a graduation degree from a recognized university and as well as Master's degree with at least 60% marks.

As you have done chemical engineering, you can get into the course or training for which a B.Tech candidate can apply.

There are various entries for various qualifications on the basis of a science background aspirant.

According to your eligibility criteria and required program in the ISRO ,you can give the respective exam.

I dont know the name but sure that ISRO conducts several rounds of interview to select probable condidates for the job posts.

The syllabus is mostly your branch so make you basics strong enough to face any problem.

Eligiblity is that you must be a graduate. So check the isro website for latest job openings

Don't worry
there is a common entrance exam which will be announced so catch up with isro website once in 2 days.

ISRO conducts CET(Combined Entrance Test) for engineers. Candidates should be a graduate from a recognized University. Candidates should score at least 60% marks in graduation. The age of the candidate should not exceed 35 years.

dear sorry to say chemical branch is not eligible for isro you can find it on net the eligible trades are.

To get into the ISRO ,you must have 60% marks in your graduation ,then you can sit for the various exam conducted by the ISRO authorities......

After qualifying the exam you will have to go through the interview pannel,thereafter if you selected then you will get chance to do the reearch prgrams....

3. M.Tech in Geo infromatics / Remote Sensing and GIS with First class
4. M.Tech in Optics / Applied Optics with First class.
5. M.Tech in Physical Engineering , Engineering Physics, Semiconductor devices, opto electronics with first class
6. ME in Electrical/ Microwave Engineering with specialization in RADAR engineering with first class
7. M.Tech in integrated Circuit technology / solid state technology/ Microelectronics/ Micro-fabrication with first class or M.Sc Physic with Physics of thin films technology as specialization with first class with 65% marks or more.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must not be more than 35 year of age to be eligible for this course.

according to me the chemical engineering branch is not eligible for the posts of the scientists but then you can apply for the technical posts in the ISRO.....

but the eligibility includes minimum of the 60% in the graduation or the engineering degree...
