AIIMS stands for All India Institute of Medical Science and the same examination is held for the selection of students for their medical courses from any of the six AIIMS located across different parts of India.

The eligibility for appearing in the same examination are as following :-

Nationality :- You must be an Indian.

Educational Qualification :- You must have higher secondary degree from a recognized board of education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects and at least 60% aggregate in each. Relaxation of 10% aggregate is offered to the SC/ST candidates or PH candidates.

Age limit :- Your age must be within 17 years to 25 years till the last date of year in which you are appearing for the same examination.

Since Indian candidates are eligible so a candidate belonging to Jammu and Kashmir are also eligible for appearing in the same examination.

The cutoff for the same examination lies around 50% for the general category and relaxation and reservation are offered for others as per the government norms.

For more information regarding this examination you must visit the official link of same i.e; www.aiimsexam.nic.in.

Yes, you are eligible for AIIMS exam.

Candidates who have completed 12th standard with above 50% marks are eligible for AIIMS exam but your 12th standard subject are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST candidates this percentage is reduced to 40%.

Your age should be in between 17 to 26 years. No age relaxation provided for reserved category candidate.
