DER are lot of companies providing job oppurtunities after engineering:
like tcs,vipro,sathyam,ibm,accenture,cts and many many more.
but u require some qualifications:
cgpa should be 60% and above
u must clear apti,gd,and hr interview conducted by the respective company

It is very hard to answer without knowing the branch in which you completed BE course. Had you mentioned the branch, I would have been in better position to answer the question because jobs depend on the different branches of Engineering you have choosen.

To begin with, there is a good prospect to get job in Public Sector Undertakings for most of the engineering branches graduates. PSU jobs are like government job and preferred by thousands of Engineering graduates. Therefore I would highly recommend that you go for the Public Sector Undertakings job.

You would need at least 60 percent marks in BE course before you can apply for job in PSU. You also need to have valid GATE score. It would be very handy since candidates who perform well in GATE are exempted from appearing in written test and called for direct interview. This is a tradition which is followed by almost every single PSU company in India.

Each company conducts its own written test for job. The job post is published in all leading newspapers in India. Some of the companies where you can apply are:

4.) Electronics & Communication Engineering


As far as private sector jobs are concerned, I can not give specific information since you have not mentioned your stream.

Those who have completed Engineering in Computer Science or ECE can apply for job in IT companies.

ECE candidates can also apply for jobs in telecom sector as well consumer electronics sector. Those who have completed B.Tech in Aeronautical can get job in companies that build military or commercial aircrafts.

After BE , one can also appear in the various exams like IES for the Govt jobs.IES Stands for Indian Economic Service Examination and the eligibility criteria for this exam is as under-

1. One must have a Graduate Degree in :-

Electrical Engineering
Electronics & Communication Engineering
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or deemed University.

2. Aspirant who are appearing in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for Engineering Service Examination but pre-final year of degree course may not eligible to apply.

3. The candidate age not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st august of the year of examination and Upper age limits for SC/ST/OBC categories and other reserved categories.

Dear friend it's very difficult to say that which type of job you can getting after completing your BE , because you don't show that you are from which branch...Here are so many job for the different fields engineers....
But for the job which eligibilities are required that are:
1)The candidate should have passed his 10th and 12th with atleast 60% marks from any recognized board...
2)The candidate should have passed his BE with first class marks at-least 65% marks and passing from any recognized university....
3)The candidate should not have any backlogs..
4)The candidate should have good communication skills..

And to getting any job you should have goes through two procedures:
first is to clear the written exam conducted by the company
and the second is to clear the interview conducted by the companies HR..
