There are variety of jobs available in colleges and universities but since you haven,t mentioned about any particular job, I would focus on the job of lecturer/assistant lecturer.
To join any private or government colleges in India approved by UGC, as assistant lecturer, you must have qualified National Eligibility Test for lectureship conducted by University Grant Commission-UGC.
The minimum academic qualification required to be eligible for the test is a masters degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
So, if have done masters in any discipline and have got the minimum qualifying marks mentioned above, you may apply for NET in the relevant discipline.

Apart from the post of lecturer, other available jobs in colleges and universities are but not limited to librarian, clerk, computer operator, admission counselor etc.
