Can MCA student go in DRDO.if yes than what is the critearia for MCA student

no i am sorry to inform you that there are no such jobs in DRDO for MCA students as they only recruit engineering /technology graduates inthem .so boss i hope you can understand , but any ways good luck to you for other jobs...bbye take care

the drdo conducts its own examination which is known as SET,short name of scientist entrance test.
through which students are placed,
there is not too much scope for mca student in DRDO,
its is only for the b.tecch/B.E students.
basically mechanical/electrical/computer science/electronics engineers are required for this.

Atleast first class Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg / Mechanical Engg / Computer Science & Engg/ Chemical Engg/ Electrical Engg from a recognized University in respective/relevant discipline.
SO I think yoo are not eligible for drdo set exams ..........
If a class/division is not awarded at B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or 6.75 CGPA shall be considered equivalent for grade points on a ten point scale.

no you are not eligible for the DRDO post.only the engineering student can sit for the exam conducted by DRDO.

Jobs in DRDO for MCA Graduates

I dont think if there is any job for MCA graduates in DRDO, you need to be a Computer Engineer then only there are some possibilities from Computer Science side.

However, there is JRF and SRF programs available at DRDO for which MCA graduates can apply. Which is a 2 years lond stipend program.

JRF Criteria: For computer science department, candidate either must be a 1st class CSE Graduate or a 1st class Post Graduate Dgree holder in Computer Scienceand must be a 1st class in bachelor one also. So MCA can also apply.

SRF Criteria: 1st class Post Graduate Dgree holder in Computer Science and must be a 1st class in bachelor one also. So MCA can also apply.

Depnding on requirement and vacancy notification are released in "Employment News".

However, there are jobs of "Technical Assistant" for B.sc holders.

For Technical Assistance (CS) (Group-C): Candidate must be a 1st class CS Graduate and must also have studied MAthematics or Electronics for atleast 2 years in there B.Sc.

Age Limit: 28 years.

Salary: 5,000-8,000.

Notification: Are released in Employment News, as and when there is vacancy, so keep it reading.

There are also similar kind of job available famous with name "Graduate Apperentice" but its only for Physics, Chemistry, Electronics Graduates.

I more thing vacancies are very less, and admissions had been already done for 2010, interested candidates have to waite for 2011 session. So keep reading employment news. There are Government jobs and notification are released, weather a requirement for safai karamchari or a Scientist at DRDO. All are publish there from time to time.

If you didn't get any opportunity of on campusing then you can apply for off campus.
just log on to the raputated company like TCS,CTS,wipro,IBM and register yourself,they will send you an email you get the date and vanue go there and clear aptitude after that clear HR And technical INterview and doing a IT job,very simple but,the fact is in Clear aptitude,practice regularly fro GMAT,CAT,and GRA bARRON books for Apti...

MCA students are not eligible for DRDO.
I dont know MCA is in what stream,it is not engieering,not management and also not technology.
I think MCA student Should be eligible for that as a technical student but they are not eligible...
They are eligible for MS...

Why BCA students are not Eligible when they have same knowledge in Digital Electronics,Microprocessor & micro controller,Circuit theory,digital & analog circuit and electronics like electronics students?

No vacancy for MCA graduate in DRDO,Govt sector.Then what is the use of Studying MCA courses.Only in private firm will get job.Everywhere Rejection in this field.6 years(BSc MCA) .we are wasting.For BTECH students only 4 years.But they have Importance.What a Magic.society is like that.:)There is some predetermined things..
