Radar systems is all time favorite specialization there will be many opportunities after completing this course.
but you need to have full knowledge to get succeeded in your life.
The research opportunities are present but there are very few when compared to others.

this is all about Radars in the present market.

If your goal is to make your career in ISRO then go through this following lines.

ISRO has Annual Intake of Engineers and Scientist

even though there is specific exam for the intake for the same

they highly depend on the merit of the student than the degrees completed by the candidate

so you should understand one thing clearly that you have to be a good knowledgeable person in your subject regard

And the general steps you have to remember to reach your desired goal is ..

->you have to complete your b.tech with good percentage i.e., 65% atleast (preferably 75-80%)

->Go for Coaching if you're financial position is strong(Not Cumpulsary) so that not only you get coaching you can be exposed to many factors like difficulty level of question,national wide competition for the same exam..and so on it will be good if you do so..

->As usual after getting well groomed with the coaching you can confidently attempt the exam..

->Then after that you have to give good performance in the interview too.

By these simple steps you can make into your dream..

There are mainly two kinds of job for ECE graduate available at ISRO. ISRO anually organize an exam to select candidates for jobs. This written exam is followed by an interview after which you can get a post for either an engineer or a scientist at ISRO for research purposes.

To be eligible for this exam you must complete your graduation with at least an aggregate of 65% marks. Maximum age allowed is 35 years for any candidate who applies for this job.

So, to have a job at ISRO you must qualify this exam and interview afterwards.

I am Pursuing My Diploma(under Grad.) in Precision Manufacturing at Govt.Tool Room And Training Center (GT&TC).GT&TC is one among the hi-tech labs in our country.As u know Precision Engg Technology is applied Mainly on Manufacturing of Aviation parts. so can i get a job in ISRO?

Am currently doing my Master's in Wireless Communications in University of Southampton,U.K..I did my UG in B.E.(EEE) and hold a distinction in the same .. I will be finishing my course in Jan 2013...I have no work experience and so am confused about the job opportunities...Is it possible for me to join ISRO ??? ISRO is mainly meant for the electronics...

You can work as junior scientist in ISRO.

there are differentiated scientists and given grades for them.

After working there you are also eligible for NASA.

All the best.......

why there in such organization only a student having first class degree are allowed to give test....it is one of the worst thing.
and the best way to destroy the craze and talent of million of students... and there are many examples in history of genius persons having poor school and college record..

at least now change the procedure. and look for the talented guys instead of selected merit students....i mean to say deserving student by giving chance to all..

To work in ISRO you have to satisfy the following eligibility criterias:-


You should complete your B.Tech with 65% marks can apply to work in this organization.

Your minimum age should be minimum 35 years to apply for the ISRO entrance exam.

The proper syllabus of this examination is never given. But to gain some knowledge about the question pattern you can go through the papers attached.

ISRO is open for ECE graduates as government sector company. the minimum requirement is to complete engineering with atleast 65% of marks. There is an entrance test for qualification for various posts offered. You may refer there website for detailed information.
