Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) is approved by University Grant Commission as well as by Distance Education Council of India.
For any non-technical course including Bachelor of Arts, recognition of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is not required. The council only recognizes technical programs offered through regular mode and as far as course offered through distance mode is concerned, AICTE only recognizes Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Application.

First of all i would like to tell you that Bachelor Of Arts is a non-techincal Degree . It is not a Technical Degree that required recognition from AICTE.

Also KSOU is not approved by AICTE for providing Technical Degree Programs.

It is recognized by the UGC and approved by the Distance Education Coucil (DEC).
