which language is most effective in web designing whether asp.net or java language?

For web designing, ASP.NET is very effective but it will be helpful to you if you do JAVA also.

I think the Java language is best for web designing.

Hi dear, for web designing java is best,Because java is langauge where asp.net is frame work..net is not langauge it's microsoft framework.And one more thin .net is also using some java tools for devlopin it;s application.so java is best

Actually Both are importent,but ASP.NET is the basic language for web devoloping,where as JAVA use in web as well as other software,games etc...
PHP is also importent for web devoloping...

ASP.NET is a Framework used for Developing Web applications and services.
Both JAVA with IDE and ASP.NET with Visual Studio are Free.

Java comes with many variants like J2EE, J2ME, JSF, JAVAFX etc.
Java is platform independent, whereas ASP.NET is platform dependent.

Finally if you compare for performance, flexibility Java is Better.
ASP.NET new versions has reduced 70% of coding, but performance is slow.

java language is more effective than others because java is used for cliet side applets,fundamentals.it is a open source programming language.

Dear ASP .Net is more useful and easier to design the web page.

In web designing we can use both languages .net & java.in .net by using asp.net,java by using jsp(java server page).both are using develop the web applications.asp.net the famous application programming language.this technology use with compiled languages like c, cobol.
but the dis advantage is sometimes it executes the certain operations slowly. jsp is open source programming language.this is also using develop the web applications but the dis advantage is it dosn't have xml compliant version from the client side but only xml style comment have to be used.

asp.net bec it is have more inbuilt funtion than the java

hi friend web desgning is more effective ... because in java it relates all the key cords an u can checkout the internet website for your more knowledge...you can try for advance java so tat it has more effective process ......

Dear First Check, in which field you are comfirtable since in ASP dot net AZAX is coming and it is very light tool which is easily ported on any other site as like to JAVA. But coding is very easier in ASP .Net as compare to JAVA. So prefer the coding in ASP .Net.

Although both of these languages can be used for web designing,but among them,ASP.net is more preferable due to the following reasons:
1.More user friendly
2.You just need to drag and drop the tools in it
3.Platform-Independent
4.Easy to create the web sites
5.Easy to learn as we don't need to remember the syntax and its library functions

my question is that if we can use microsoft access as the backend in java and we want to put the data in tables that are constructed under one DSN is it possible to add data directly in the second table without any interference from the first one.

good language.But the main thing is you are intreseted in web designing.So

the best option in between both of them is .NET.

.NET is used in web applications and its a very good language having so much

scope for job preference.

but you can go for ASP.NET if your are good in JAva..
and Java is base for ASP.NET..
mostly prefer Java.

i want to tell you that java is a programming language in which you can make different type of software and windows etc. this is a good language.
But you are asking of web designing then you can choose the asp.net language. this is best language in web designing. first you can learn all the basic of this language and then you can make your home pages with the help of Dream weaver software. this is very efficient software.
