after diploma, any student can take the admission directly in the 2nd year through lateral entry.
as you are also a diploma holder so you can take admission in second year through lateral entry, but for this you should go to write the entrance exam through which you can take the admission in Dayanand Sagar Institute of Technology.
it is a very good institute of mumbai.
ok
best of luck.

dear friend
nits doesnt have a lateral entry scheme but you can get admission to nits through aieee exam only if you rank below 23000 and you should be eligible for the exam too
you can check the eligibility at www.aieee.nic.in or can even look into the brochure of aieee

Dear Friend,
there are so many colleges/universities across the country provide lateral admission for diploma students to direct second year.
for this you may have to sit in any exam such as JELET exam through which you can take admission in any B.Tech college..

Good luck.
