If you want to become I.A.S officer then you have to pass graduation form any stream you want.
After that you are eligible for I.A.S exam.

I.A.S exam exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Qualification:- Pass graduation with any stream fron recginiced university.

Age limit:-
For Open category:- 21-30 year
For ST/SC category:- 21-33 year

Number of Attempts:-
For open category:- 4 attempts
For ST/SC category:- 7 attempts

you need first to complete your graduation ;
if you are really eager to earn money now then do a computer course which can include:
1.hardware
2.software3.web development
or
if you want to help your cause in IAS then do B.A as it includes those subjects which will help you

I am yet a 2 student and I aspire to become an IAS officer.Can you suggest me few undergraduate courses which would help me crack CSE.I am interested in economics and how far would a course in economics help me?

Well,

First thing is that you have to be graduate to crack this EXAM, in doing so you can take up any stream which you like and you are strong at.Regarding your case you have the intention of doing in economics. It is a good choice if you are strong at. Many are also selected in IAS through this paper.

Try to get a good grasp in this knowledge nad go for some coaching classes like Chanakya and IAS academy etc.

Better choose Indian hISTORY AS YOUR MAJOR SUBJECT. IT WILL HELP You in all the three levels of IAS exam.

After that you are eligible for I.A.S exam.

I am good in ecnomics and i want to join ias . Please guide me about ias preparation and how to prepare for examinations.
