The biotechnology paper has been recently introduced in the GATE exam as a separate paper. Previously it used to be a ection of life science paper. So few books are available for GATE biotechnology paper.

g.k publisher is not a good book , it has a lot of mistakes

We should read the textbooks first,then we can go for specialized books isn't it?

Dear friends I have done Msc from IIT in Biotechnology and got AIR 35 in GATE exam.Please do not follow GK publishers book.It contains many misprinting.The best book to follow is GATE Biotech by Pathfinder Academy by Praveen Kumar.The author is done tremendous work in simplifying the matter.Must read.

of course i believe its a good book . But i m looking for separate books for each subjects rather than one whole book full of one mark questions . Can u pls help me with that .

No. U should have one of the following qualifications to take up GATE exam

B.E (ofcourse no B.E Biotech course is there as per my knowledge)
B. Tech
M. Sc

i studied from PATHFINDER , biotechnology by satyanarayan,TA brown (recombinant ) and got 97 percentile in 3 mnths prep.
