Default Re: How to prepare for GATE exam while pursuing B.Tech (Biotechnology)?

GATE is a very well known entrance exam and is most important for entering in the public sector directly.

My suggestion to you is that you should have to follow the below given tips for getting good rank in your GATE exam. If you follow all below tips then you will not need for taking any coaching for GATE.

Important tips for GATE preparation :

** Solve objective type questions as much as possible.

** No need to cover the entire syllabus, it will confuse you.

** Keep preparing your personal notes as you cover topics.

** Do not practice questions in rough. You may need to see the solutions at the time of revision. So my suggestion to you is that you should keep a separate notebook for practice

** Go through previous year papers to check your knowledge and note the distribution of different topics.

** Revision is one of the most important step of the preparation process.

Here is some of the reference books for you :

Gate 2016 Biotechnology Text Books:

** Microbiology by Presscott

** Principles of Biochemistry by Lehninger

** Immunology by kuby

** Genetics by strassburger

** Cell and molecular biology by De Roberttis
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
