there should be a proper revision scheme
1st revision within two days after you complete a topic
2nd revision 7-10 days
3rd revision within approx. 1 month
4th revision afetr 3 months
5th revision within one month before your exam

try to solve the paper in specific period of time to increase your speed

TIPS TO PREPARE FOR IIT EXAM

-> Refer previous year papers and try to find out the question pattern followed in the exam this help you to prepare well for the exam in a short period of time..

-> I have attached some of the previous year model papers in this post.. just check it over and go through the papers and try to find out the pattern...

-> Try to spend some valuable time daily for preparation... Manage your time well to concentrate both with your regular studies and for IIT preparation... Just prepare a schedule and try to follow it daily...

dear friend,
for cracking iit jee exam, not only hard work is required but strategy is also required for preparation. you must first study from ncert books to clear your concept. after that i will suggest you to study from
tata mcgraw hills for maths
d c pandey for physics
arihant for chemistry
you must also for once try to solve all the previous years question papers to get the knowledge of pattern and difficulty level of the exam.
while solving the sample papers, never see the solution directly. first try to solve the questions by yourself two to three times. if then also you fail, then see the solution.
you must remember these tips to get good result.

IIT-JEE exam is a national level exam conducted by IITs jointly to select the Brilliant Brains all over India. It is a very prestigious exam and also the toughest exam of UG course in Engineering. Every candidate dreams to be in IIT.

Since, this exam has limited no. of seats so it becomes tough for everyone to crack this exam and get admission. Around 5 lakhs candidates apply for this exam and nearly 9000 are selected and get IITs.
Most of the candidates apply the strategy to start their preparation with Chemistry in the morning, Maths during afternoon, Physics in night.
Actually, in morning mood is fresh, Chemistry is easy in comparative with other two subjects. So, they study Chemistry in the morning.
