IIT's: Admission is based on IITJEE.
Eligibility: Candidate must have passed +2 with PCM and 60% aggregate. +2 appearing candidates can also appear for it.

NIT's: Admission is based on AIEEE, conducted by CBSE each year.
Eligibility: Candidate must have passed +2 with P and MAthematics and Chemistry, Biology, CS, Biotech as optional 50% aggregate. +2 appearing candidates can also appear for it.


Whereas for general courses they are available in any good University having science faculty.
