There are numerous courses available in India through e-learning. For e.g NPTEL provides E-learning through online and video courses in Engineering, Science and Humanities streams. The mission is to enhance the quality of Engineering education in the country by providing free online course.

There are also courses on Chartered accountancy available on E-learning. The main objective of such courses is to provide students with maximum availability of the course mater and that it reaches the candidates on each and every city irrespective of its geographical boundaries.

There are courses on Computer and email etiquette that focuses on teaching the basics of computer and email communication by identifying the errors one does while writing an email. MS office free courses are also available through e-learning, where you can learn about it over the internet free of cost.

English learning and languages (vernacular) learning courses are also available.

As i have mentioned there are numerous courses available through e-learning. You should provide us the information that you are interested on which particular course or domain. We will be able to guide you more precisely.

As far as the governing body or affiliation is concerned, it depends on the institution that it is affiliated or recognized by which body and university. It is not essential that all these institution will be affiliated by the same body.
