When will held the exams in 2017? Please, tell me all the IAF (Indian Air Force) exams which are going to be held in 2017.

To join Indian Air Force the examination is conducted by UPSC and Air Force. The required educational qualification to appear for examination is 10+2 or graduation.

NDA.

AFCAT.

CDS.

The below two are on the basis of bachelor degree education qualification. For more information about examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in or www.careerairforce.nic.in.

See, Airforce conducts its examination twice a year for recruiting officers in various technical and administrative wings.

The exam is called AFCAT exam.
1) AFCAT 1 is held in the month of January/ February and the notification comes around at the last of November or in December (2016)

2) AFCAT 2 is organised is usually conducted in the month of august and the notification comes in around June

After the exam, you will be called for the SSB interview. SO, if you are thinking of the AFCAT exam, then you should aim at both the knowledge and physical strength.

As far as the syllabus is concerned, it includes-
- Reasoning
- Verbal ability
- General Awareness
- Numerical ability
- General Aptitude.

If you apply for any technical post, then you will also have to give a technical paper.

CDS II Exam Date:-

• Online applications can be filled from 16th July 2016 to 12th August 2016
• Admit Cards Download Date: SEPT OCT 2016
• Date of Commencement of Exam: 23rd Oct 2016 (Sunday)

NDA II Exam Date:-

• Online Applications-18th June 2016 to 15th July 2016
• Last date for Payment of fee through Offline:14th July 2016
• Last date for Payment of Fee through Online:15th July 2016
• Date of NDA (II) Examination: 18th September 2016
• Written Exam Results will be declared in: Nov Dec 2016

Indian Air Force is one of the wing of the defence service which provides us aerial security to the country.

The recruitment in the service is conducted after qualifying in entrance examination conducted by various examination conducting body.

But, it is necessary to qualify in entrance examination for final selection. The list of entrance examination are :-

National Defence Academy.

Combined Defence Academy.

Air Force Common Admission Test.

All the three examination are conducted twice in a year. So, as per your eligibility you can appear for examination.

Candidates who have done 10+2 can apply for Indian Air Force through NDA examination. The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. You must be unmarried male Indian to apply for this exam. For Indian Air Force, PCM subjects in 10+2 is necessary.

>>The date of notification for NDA I is 18/01/2017 and for NDA II is 07/06/2017.

For graduates, Combined Defence Services examination is conducted by UPSC to enter into Air Force Academy. The date of notification of CDS 1 is 9/11/2016 and 09/08/2017.

Candidates who have done bachelor's degree can also apply for Air Force Common Admission Test. It is also conducted by Air Force twice every year. You can visit official website of Indian Air Force for latest updates.
