You have maximum three chances to appear in the JEE main exam. If you are pursuing your intermediate in 2017, then definitely you are eligible for appearing in the JEE main exam. All candidates who passed their 12th standard in 2015 and 2016 are also eligible for appearing in the JEE main 2017 exam.

JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination and it is an entrance examination held once every year by CBSE for admission in the undergraduate technical courses in top engineering colleges like IIT, NIT, IIIT, ISM and other CFTIs.
JEE is organized in two stages which includes JEE Main and JEE Advance respectively. --> For appearing in JEE Main, you are required to have the qualifications given below :- * You must have the nationality of India with your age lying within 17 years to 25 years. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for reserved category candidates. * You must have completed your Class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 60% aggregate in these three subjects overall from a recognized board.
