M.Sc through distance is valid for doing M.Tech from regular university or not?


I'm 36 years old and had done M.Sc Information Technology through distance from Sikkim Manipal University. Can I do M.Tech from any regular university now? Is my degree valid for regular universities?

Sikkim Manipal University is UGC recognized university. Candidates who have done Master of Science from a recognized university is valid for pursuing Master of Technology from a regular university.

You can apply for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering exam to get admission in M.Tech in top engineering colleges. You can apply for exam.

M.Tech (Master of Technology) in Information Technology is a post graduation level degree. The duration of the course is 2 years.
The basic eligibility required is a graduation level degree in any related stream from any recognized university. The candidates who have studied their previous year education in regular or correspondence mode are eligible for studying M.Tech.

There are many colleges which provide M.Tech in Information Technology through correspondence. Some of them are listed below:

M.Sc stands for Master of Science.

Sikkim Manipal University is University Grants Commission and Distance Education Council recognized.

The degree obtained from this university is valid for Master of Technology course. You can apply for GATE exam.

i have done MSC Environmental Science from Bharathiar Universit with Distance Education can i apply for Mtech in Environmental Science in regular .
