You will get same job opportunities from both of the streams. Actually in the past years the universities providing courses like science, medical and all along with engineering are put under the degree of B.E and such institutes will give B.E degree. And the institutes which provides only the engineering course are put under the B.Tech course. But now AICTE has consider both the degrees equivalent and also converting the B.E degree providing institutes to B.Tech providing institutes. |

dear friend ,
the main difference between the BE AND B.TECH IS generally be is the degree which is offered in the private institutes. BE means bachelor of engineering generally B.TECH is the degree which is given in the government institutes like IIT's , NIT's . B.TECH means bachelor of technology. thanks |

Both the streams are equivalent in terms of value and objective. You will get same job opportunities from both of the streams. Actually in the past years the universities providing courses like science, medical and all along with engineering are put under the degree of B.E and such institutes will give B.E degree. And the institutes which provides only the engineering course are put under the B.Tech course. Re: Major difference between B.E and B.Tech?
hi friend
BE is knowledge oriented. B Tech is skill oriented. Now-a-days, nobody is caring of the difference. Its only University dependeny. Strictly speaking, BE is more theoritical and B Tech is more practical. In BE we study the reasons also in depth. In B Tech we concentrate on skills. Deciding what is greater degree is dependent on the application/job you are doing. Engineers feel that BE is greater then B Tech. Hands-on-experience is preferable to knowledge in many countries (not in INDIA. In India, knowledge is only provided. People are not interested in hands-on-experience.) In many countries, an Engineer without skill is not an Engineer. To focus this point, B Tech course was developed. This way B Tech is greater than BE. Now, no difference. so make up your mind according to it.......... |

There is no such difference between BE and B.Tech. Bothe the the degrees have the same value. Same jobs are there for both the courses. Some university gives B.Tech and some gives BE. Nowadays it is heard that all the new universities are giving the B.Tech degree. So as a conclusion I can say you that both degrees are same in all respects......... |
