How many marks has to be scored in 12th standard to join in B.Sc Agriculture? To be noted that, My 12th marks is 1001 and my medical cut off 159.5 only.

To get admission in B.Sc Agriculture 4 year duration course candidates have to qualify in entrance examination conducted by universities and by ICAR.

The eligibility to appear for examination is candidate must have passed 12th with PCM or PCB as main paper with atleast 50%.

So, you need to prepare for examination and qualify in examination for admission in course.

In private colleges or institutes candidates are offered admission on aggregate in 12th or JEE, NEET score.

Indian Council of Agriculture Research conducts entrance examination for Bachelor's degree in agriculture.

The qualification required for ICAR AIEEA examination is that you should have studied 12th from either PCM or PCB subjects and score minimum of 45% marks for admission in Bachelor's degree in agriculture.

Your selection for this course will be done on basis of your rank in ICAR examination.

B.Sc Agriculture refers to Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and as the name suggests it is a bachelor degree course with good scope in country like India which is agro based.

The minimum educational qualification required for pursuing same course is a higher secondary school degree with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture as main subjects with at least 50% aggregate from a recognized board of education.

The eligibility to pursue B.Sc Ag course is :-

Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board.

Candidate must have passed 12th with PCM/PCB as main paper.

Candidates with minimum 50% ( varies with universities) are eligible to appear for examination.

But admission is offered on qualifying in entrance examination conducted for admission by various universities and by state and central government for admission in their affiliated colleges.

There is a certain eligibility criteria in order to pursue B.Sc in Agriculture course. The minimum educational qualification required to pursue this B.Sc in Agriculture course is given below.

>> You must have done 12th Class with Physics, Biology and Chemistry subjects in order to be eligible for doing this course.

>> The minimum percentage required in 12th Class is 60% marks or 50% marks based on the college that you choose.

>> You are required to score merit marks in Entrance examination and the percentage obtained in 12th Class.

In most of the institutes and colleges admission in B.Sc Agriculture course is not offered on merit basis.
