IIT paper this year was of 480 marks.Every year the cut off varies according to the paper.

Last year the cut off was 190 for general.According to experts this year cut will be around 200.So if you get this much marks then you will be selected in the IIT's....

this is the last year cutoff of IIT JEE .this time cut off will be around it .might get change
only +5% or -5%.

To join IIT, you will have to appear for JEE. To be eligible for the Test, you must have scored a minimum of 60% in the qualifying exam.
Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are eligible with a minimum of 55% marks in the qualifying exam.

As you know every year the cutoff will changed, the last years cutoff will be 190. so this year it might be more than 200. But i think 250 is for safer side. For this marks you will get your choice branch.
