dear friend,

for eligible to appear for IIT exam there should be 60% aggregate in 12th class.

60% marks is not necessary in only three subjects i.e. PCM.it requires aggregate 60% marks in 12th board.

all the best.

dear friend,

Yes , you are eligible for IIT JEE. there is no such criteria that you must have 60% marks in your 12th..

the criteria is you must have PCM in your 12th and you must have 50% marks in your 12th..

so, don't worry , you can appear in IIT JEE..

all the best.

Dear friend,
to be eligible for IIT exam you have to get 60% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level.if you do not fullfill the criteria then you wont be allowed to sit for the exam.its not that you only need to score 60% in PCM.you must get that marks in aggregate.
All The Best!!!!

Dear friend,

Yes you have have minimum of 60% marks in your three main subjects i.e. physics, chemistry and maths.they are not concerned with your other marks.

But friend don't loose heart as there are some colleges which noe take admission directly on the basis of marks of class 12th and also there are some good colleges which does not have this minimum criteria.

So go for other exams.

BEST OF LUCK!!!

dear friends,

yes, you are eligible.

becase in your case the best five subjects will be choosen but physics

chmeisty and mathematics must included in the list of the fove subjects.

if you will add the best five subjects marks then it is above 60% so you

are eligible.

Dear friend
You need to score aggregate 60% in your 12th examination and there is no 'best 5' or 'PCM' marks kind of matters associated with it.
You just have to score an aggregate of 60% in your 12th examination.
Your aggregate is more than 60% so you would be eligible to appear the IIT-JEE.
However, every year there is little bit changes in IIT system, so there could be some change. The complete information can be available only when IIT publishes rules and eligibility criteria again for IITJEE-11 and that would be available in October.
Any changes regarding JEE will be published in the national dailies and also will be accessible once the application form is available.
Thank you

I am appearing for the IIT JEE exam at the year 2011.......I know that this is the toughest exam in this country but still I am opting for the elite engineering colleges.......To say the truth I have not studied long hours like my friends..I have studied on an avg of 8-10 hrs a day.....But I can assure you that i did this honestly and systematically......Do I still have any chance of getting into the institute???Please be truthful about your answers....Any fruitful answer will be heartily appreciated......Thanking and waiting......

You are not eligible for IIT because atleast 60% is required for IIT in 12th class ,it does not have any corelation with the aggregate in all five,if you want only IIT then you can repeat 12 th class and prepare well to get atleast 60%.
