Dear friend
Till now the Common Entrance Test for Engineering and Medical has not been implemented. If it will be implemented in future there will be common papers of Physics & Chemistry only. Students will have to choose either Biology or Mathematics as per their educational background and choice. Maths. won't be compulsory for Biology students at all. If someone have studied both Maths & Biology in 12th and passed both the subjects with first class then he/she can apply for both both streams. (It will be clear once the rules are implemented.) |

Dear friend,
the entrance test for engineering i. e. B. E./ B. Tech courses are IIT JEE, AIEEE, PET, BITSAT etc. in which the compulsory subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Maths. And entrance tests for admission to medical courses such as MBBS, BDS etc. are AIPMT, AIIMS, state level PMT etc. in which compulsory subjects are Physics, Chemistry and Biology. There is no common entrance test for both courses. Students who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology at 10+2 level can give both entrance tests separately. |

Hi.
After 10th i.e metric whichever subject we choose define our stream whether it is medical or non medical. If you have chosen Physics, Chemistry and Maths, then your stream is Non medical. And is you have chosen Biology along with these three, or as a replacement for maths, then your stream is Medical. Yeah If anyone is studying PCMB, then he/she is open to both the streams. So Till now, maths has not been make any compulsion for the Medical entrances. However Physics, Chemistry and Biology are certainly compulsory for any medical entrance you give across India. All the best. Regards #RJ# |
