i want to know whether maths is required for genetic engineering?...pelase tell me if it is

Not many institutes in the country offer genetic engineering course at the graduation level. At the graduation level candidates pursue Biotechnology as a specialisation. For admission to this course Physics, Chemistry and Maths should be amongst the subjects studied. You also have the option to join Institute of Genetic Engineering. This institute offers B.Sc course for which 12th pass outs from any area of specialisation are eligible to apply.

Yes, mathematics is required for joining genetic engineering.

Genetic engineering is a different course in the engineering stream. Only few colleges offer this course. It mainly deals with human cells, anatomy, dna, cloning etc.,

There is a great future for genetic engineers as this stream is fully into research and development.

So to join genetics or genetic engineering, it is good if you have mathematics subject in 12th class.
