Maths is not compulsory subject for getting admission to genetic engineering. Most institutes demand at least 50% aggregate marks in (10+2) level. JEE Main is the entrance exam for getting admission to genetic engineering. Some universities also conduct their own entrance exam for admission.

Eligibility For Genetic Engineering
- You must have passed (10+2) in science stream with physics, chemistry and biology subjects with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- You need to appear & qualify the entrance exam JEE Main.
