I wanna know about the sc candidates
age limit for nda exam...

age limit is 16.5 yeare to 19 years.

For the NDA exam Age Limits are as under:
General- 16 ½ - 19 years
Sc/St- Five years relaxation i.e 16 ½ - 24 years.

My date birth 10th November 1992 and I ma SC m I eligible for NDA Exam of August 2011

Eligibility
Age: 16½ to 19 years.
Age relaxation for SC:5 years i.e. 16½ to 24 years

The age limit for NDA exam is as follows:

For general category candidates - 16½ to 19 years.

For SC/ST category candidates - There is an age relaxation of 5 years. So the applicable age limit for a SC candidate is 16½ to 24 years.

sir my date of birth is 30 dec 1992 ad i m a sc candidate........
i have age relaxation of 5 years.......
but i dont get my admit card of nda ticket.....

National Defence Academy Examination requred age limit for general candited is between 16.5 years and 19 th years.
But for SC candeted has an age relaxation of 5 years.so applicable age limit for a SC candeted is between 16.5 year to 24 years.

The age limit is 16 1/2-19yrs.
For SC/ST there is a age relaxation of 5yrs.

For the NDA exam, there is no relaxations on age limit for the SC/ST, or OBC candidates.

Hence, the age limit for everyone is the same as that for the general category candidates.

Age Limit:

Candidate must be between 16.5-19 years of age.

I would like to inform you that there is no relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for NDA examination:

Educational Qualification:

XII with Physics, Chemistry and Maths for Airforce and Navy.

Age Criteria:

You must have age in between 16 1/2 to 19 years.

So. if your age is in between this limit and if you satisfy all other eligibility criteria than you can apply for NDA.

Indian armed forces doenot descriminates on caste, religion or any other criteria.

You need be a person of sound mental and physical condition to join armed forces.

NDA is National Defence Academy which is conducted by UPSC every year and this exam is conducted for candidates who likes to be a part of Indian Army,Naval and Air force Wings.The candidates must satisfy some eligibility criteria's t apply for the exam and they are:

The candidates must be a citizen of India.

The candidates must be a unmarried male candidate.

The candidates must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years.

The candidates must have finished +2 from a recognized school board.

There is a exception for SC/ST candidates as they get extra 5 years from the prescribed limits.

Dear,
Age limit criteria for every candidate is same in NDA Examination. There is no special relaxation in age for SC/ST and OBC Candidates. SC, ST, GEN and OBC candidates are applying for this examination within a same age limit.

Further Eligibility is given below.

1. 12th Pass from any recognized board.

2. Min. 50% marks in board examination.

3. Candidate within age limit of 16.5 to 19 years can only apply.

4. Only unmarried candidate can apply.

5. For naval and air force wing, physics and mathematics are compulsory subjects in 12th standard.

I would like to tell you, there is not any kind of the age relaxations criteria is applicable any reserved category.
As the age limit for appear in the NDA [NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY] is 16.5-19 years,.

This examination is conducted by the union public service commission [UPSC]. Through this examination one can apply in all the combatant branches of the Indian army, i.e. In naval, air force wing & in military branches...

For apply in the NDA examination, you must have at least 12th degree from the recognized board.
for apply in NAVAL & AIR FORCE WING of the Indian army, you must have Physics & Maths in 12th as your passing subjects .
You must have scored at least 60% in 12th.

Exam pattern-


You must have Indian nationality with marital unmarried.

NDA is conducted in Three wings: 1). Indian Army, 2). Indian Navy and 3). Indian Air Force......


Eligibility and Criteria:-

1. A candidate must have completed their 12th std. with the subjects of Maths can apply for this exam.....

2. Age of candidate Strictly be between 16.5 to 19 years for all Category....

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

There is no specific age for SC category candidate, in fact there is no upper age relaxation for any reserved Category candidate.

The Age criteria for NDA is from 16.5 to 19 years which is same for all category candidate.

Apart from this, the eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board with good physical and mental health.

Scheduled Caste,Scheduled Tribe,Other Backward Classess.
At the time of commencement of the course.

Defence does not have any relaxation in any criteria for reserved categories.

NDA age suits only intermediate candidates.
Hence is a entry for 10+2 candidates.

There were speculation about increment of age in NDA,not confirmed yet.
NDA 3 year graduation after clearing examination.

Age must be 16.5 to 19,if 19 years 1 month,after completing selection process it will be
19 years 1 month ,which makes ineligible for NDA.
