Hi,Iam Shaheen Ikbal Ahmed.Iam pursuing my BBA from Dibrugarh University,Assam.Basically Iam from a science background.i.e I passed my 12th from science stream.I wanted to know that to do MBA, which college will be the best for me?Also Iam thinking of taking finance as my specialisation in my final year because I am good in maths and accounts.And HR as my specialisation in MBA.Is this combination good?I will be really glad to have your advice.thank you.

well as you said you want to do MBA i ll suggest you to give MAT,CAT exam that will help you to get into best colleges in India

If you are more of numbers guy go for finance. More growth opportunities.

If you like to speak to ppl, very compasionate, like solving ppl problems go for HR

XLRI/TISS/SCMHRD ,IGNOU, Symbi, Alagappa, ICFAI are some of best colleges after IIM.

I would suggest you that firstly you must try for the Common Admission Test exam.

If you are good in math and accounts then MBA(finance ) is a very good option.
After completion of MBA you are able to work with top notch Banks,finance related company etc.
but before that you have to well prepare for the CAT exam if you will score well then only you are able to study top mba colleges.
start preparing CAT from now onwards or if possible then join any institute for CAT and prepare well.

First of fall there are many collage in india which have MBA course .
such as IIM and ICFAI deharadun .
your thinking is good.
Because in finance there are lots of jobs in india out side the country .

I would suggest you to take MBA specialization in Finance rather than HR due to your strong base in Maths and Accounts.

the top MBA colleges in India are IIMs, FMS, Symbiosis, etc...

to get admission in IIMs you have to score 99 percentile in CAT...

you can also give MAT.

But remember, if you are interested to do MBA, then do it from the top colleges of India...to get good jobs in Good companies, otherwise your degree will be of less demand.

So for now, your aim is to crack CAT and MAT.
